Youth Consultation Service (YCS)
Overview
YCS is seeking a full-time Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team (Psychiatrist, Nurse, Residential Counselors) that provides an array of therapeutic services to individuals in our care. We offer small caseloads, a commitment to professional growth and clinical development, and a competitive salary and benefits package including generous paid time off, flexible scheduling, and a sign-on bonus of $2,500. This position reports to the Clinical Director who provides clinical supervision, while the agency offers monthly clinical rounds and trainings to enhance learning opportunities. Primary Responsibilities
Complete Strengths and Needs, and Biopsychosocial (BSP) assessment for new admissions Develop and implement safety/soothing plans with youth and family Develop and work with youth and family on a comprehensive treatment plan and discharge plan (including new discharge planning) Provide individual therapy, if applicable Provide group therapy, if applicable Attend treatment team meetings Support trauma-focused interventions (e.g., Trauma Focused CBT) and related therapeutic approaches as part of the plan for youth Requirements
Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field and a license to practice independently in NJ (including LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD) OR a Master’s level therapist licensed to practice in NJ (including LSW and LAC) under the on-site supervision of an independently licensed NJ clinician with a documented plan to achieve licensure within 3 years. Work Schedule: Flexible, 35 hours weekly. About YCS
