Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in computer hardware and system solutions, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality PC Lab Technician to join their team. As a vital member of the Quality Returns Verification Team, you will support onsite operations at their Austin, TX facility.
Job Title:
Quality PC Lab Technician
Location:
Austin, TX (100% On‑Site)
Duration:
12+ Months Contract
What's the Job?
Assemble and validate benchtop computer platforms in the lab environment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computer systems as needed
Perform regular maintenance, updates, and assessments of hardware platforms
Conduct visual inspections and cleaning of CPUs and other components
Manage inventory of hardware and CPUs, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation
What's Needed?
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with PC hardware assembly, operation, and debugging
Experience handling computer components in an ESD‑safe environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and issue tracking systems such as JIRA
Previous experience with inventory management and CPU testing
High school diploma or equivalent required
