Responsibilities
Under the direction of the clinical chairman, provides patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings:
Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Work Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with rotational weekend hospital and call coverage (average 1:4).
Provide clinical supervision and teaching for residents and medical students.
Be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides excellent care for all patients.
Qualifications Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program and an Adult Infectious Disease fellowship. Board qualified or certified. AZ licensed physician. Credentialed at SJHMC. Membership in appropriate professional associations and societies.
A passion for providing clinically excellent care.
MD or DO degree.
Active or eligible for board certification in Internal Medicine / Infectious Disease.
Must have or be eligible for an AZ State medical license.
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.

Overview Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona
is seeking a full-time clinical and academic physician for the multidisciplinary Infectious Disease service line at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff across various specialties. The group provides more than 73 subspecialty services and is involved in academic, research, and leadership roles, including training medical students, residents, and fellows. DHMG is committed to innovative clinical care and scholarly activities, with full access to hospital facilities, enabling state-of-the-art patient services, including care for underserved populations.
