Veterinary Assistant
who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player.
Responsibilities
Room patients, assist in surgery, place IV catheters, draw blood and run bloodwork Experience with x-ray and proper positioning Support client education and teamwork
Qualifications
1-2 years of veterinary experience preferred Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Experience with proper animal handling and restraint Passion for working with animals and their owners Excellent communication and organizational skills Positive and supportive team member
