Overview Sales Engineer / Account Manager for the Midwest Region. This full-time, remote position focuses on developing customer relationships, providing technical solutions, and driving equipment sales. You’ll represent our machinery portfolio—especially laser cutting, welding, and bending systems—while collaborating with our support, service, and installation teams.

Please note: This position is being hired by Tube Tech LLC, a distributor of Bodorlaser. Bodorlaser is not the employer. While both Bodorlaser and Tube Tech will participate in the interview process, all hiring decisions will be made exclusively by Tube Tech.

Role Overview Tube Tech is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager for the Midwest Region. This full-time remote position focuses on developing customer relationships, providing technical solutions, and driving equipment sales. You’ll represent our machinery portfolio—especially laser cutting, welding and bending systems—while collaborating with our support, service, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new customer accounts and grow existing relationships

Drive the full sales process: lead generation, solution proposal, close

Analyze market needs and report trends to optimize sales strategy

Provide technical product guidance and machinery recommendations

Coordinate with internal teams (service, marketing, support)

Attend trade shows, demos, and regional customer visits

Deliver quotes, presentations, and post-sale follow-up

Manage CRM updates and sales documentation

Travel up to 80% within the Midwest Region

Qualifications Required:

2–10 years in technical sales or industrial machinery

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar

Strong business communication and organizational skills

CRM and presentation software proficiency

Willingness to travel for customer support and events

In House support for open house and Demo days

Based in Indiana or willing to relocate (preferred)

Preferred:

Experience selling laser cutting, CNC, or tube fabrication machinery

Background in automated production or robotic welding

Bilingual in English and Mandarin (bonus but not required)

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 (plus uncapped commissions)

Expected Total Earnings: $100,000 – $150,000+ based on performance
