Pipefitter Foreman – Heavy Industrial Manufacturing
A major manufacturing facility in the Peru area is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman to lead industrial piping and mechanical installation work across its mill and conversion operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on coordinating crews, ensuring quality installations, and maintaining safety and uptime in a high‑performance industrial environment.
Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily activities for pipefitting crews on maintenance and capital projects
Oversee installation, repair, and layout of piping systems, valves, and related mechanical components
Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
Plan, assign, and inspect work to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance
Coordinate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Enforce all safety procedures and conduct daily job safety meetings
Track labor, materials, and progress reports for assigned projects
Train and mentor pipefitters and apprentices on proper techniques and safety practices
Qualifications
7+ years of pipefitting experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting
2+ years of crew leadership or foreman experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
Ability to read and work from schematics and fabrication drawings
Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus
Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
