Position Description Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Master Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Tulare, California.

Hourly Pay
$34.00 per hour
Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE Certification up to $700
Quarterly Bonus up to $500 every quarter
Schedule Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (First Shift).

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Vocational or technical post‑secondary degree or technical certifications (preferred)
Basic tools required
Four (4) years or more relevant work experience (preferred)
Valid Commercial Driver License class A (preferred)
Additional Requirements
Ability to perform all T3 tasks
Advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance
Effective interpersonal communication skills
Basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
Must be available to work shift work, weekends, and on‑call duty as required
Prefer ASE certification in PM, brakes, A/C, electrical, electronics or ASE master mechanic
Required to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
Pass a Ryder drug test, DOT physical, background check, and road test
Responsibilities
Complete all OEM online diagnostic scan tool software courses within 365 days
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal support
Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties: standard maintenance, preventive maintenance, complex repairs
Provide remote triage to RCRC and customers for roadside breakdowns
Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint
Instruct and advise other technicians on maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics
Coach and mentor other level technicians
