Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience building strong relationships Plusses: Experience with data analysis software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) Insight Global is seeking a skilled and motivated Analytical Chemist with expertise in Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) to support a multidisciplinary science and engineering research center in Lemont, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced chemical analyses, developing and validating analytical methods, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results. Day to Day: Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of samples using ICP-MS. Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for trace element analysis. Interpret and report analytical data with a high degree of accuracy. Maintain and troubleshoot ICP-MS instrumentation to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development projects. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards. Document and maintain accurate records of all analytical procedures and results. Provide technical support and training to junior staff and colleagues. Compensation:
$30/hr to $33/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
