to join our
Security and Electronic Systems (SES)
business unit. You will be part of the
(SES)
Strategic Business Unit and contribute to a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets. Responsibilities Install and maintain electronic security systems. Perform preventive maintenance requirements. Conduct inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Lead small moderately complex installation projects. Conduct and document daily toolbox talks. Install head end equipment at local and global levels per design packages. Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems. Troubleshoot and isolate systems and/or hardware at local and global levels. Perform inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Qualifications Clearance/Citizen Type:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance REQUIRED; must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph. Education/Experience HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities Valid driver's license; position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record Required Progressive Experience 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs 3 years of the above experience focused on electronic security systems Strong oral, written and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills (a plus) Ability to travel up to 50% Desired / Advantageous Qualifications Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch) and related Windows certifications What We Offer A collaborative team inspired by engineering and innovation to improve customer outcomes and lives Opportunity to lead and build a business with the support of an industry-leading firm Investment in skills through professional and technical training, including leadership training and tuition reimbursement Open and transparent communication with senior leadership and local office management Abilities Physical ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work at various heights up to 60 feet, on ladders, scaffolds, and lifts Good vision and hearing; ability to communicate in English Ability to climb, kneel, crouch, and maneuver in tight spaces Ability to recognize problems and apply general rules to specific problems Seniorities / Type / Function / Industry Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Design Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at M.C.
