Job Description As a
Mechanical Engineer I , you will modify standardized motor designs to meet customer requirements using lean design principles and guidelines. This job requires a moderate level of electrical and/or mechanical motor design and analysis competency.
We are looking for someone with the drive to learn, enthusiasm to exceed customer expectations, and persistence to solve complex technical challenges. Join us as we develop the next generation of high-efficiency, quiet systems.
Responsibilities
Creates or modifies mechanical designs of motors and mechanical parts to meet customer specifications, considering applicable lean design standards and guidelines
Creates or modifies electrical designs of motor and electrical parts to meet customer specifications, considering applicable lean design standards and guidelines
Reviews customer / project specifications, as needed
Provides technical data on products to customers
Provides technical support and data to other business functions
Estimates and tracks time required to perform customer support activities
Follows company standards and procedures where they apply
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited University
Solid communication, collaboration and organizational skills
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
