Electronics Technician 1

to join our

Security and Electronic Systems (SES)

business unit. As part of the

SES

Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities: Install and maintain electronic security systems. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Lead small to moderately complex installation projects. Conduct and document daily toolbox talks. Install head-end equipment at local and global levels per design packages. Program head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Troubleshoot and isolate system and hardware issues locally and globally. Provide on-site software commissioning and testing. Qualifications: Clearance/Citizen Type:

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and eligible for a government security clearance, including ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance and willingness to sit for a polygraph. Education/Experience: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours), or Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program. At least three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance experience. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Progressive Experience: 2+ years in electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs. Strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a plus. Desired Qualifications: Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems). Recognition of problems and applying general rules to solve or understand issues.
