Overview
To provide electrical and electronics support to the manufacturing facility to maximize safety, quality, and production uptime.
Pay Range
$22.88 - $40.02/HR, based on experience Schedule Night Shift 5:30PM - 5:30AM with 3 paid breaks. #INMAIN Responsibilities KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS Diagnose and repair faulty production and related plant equipment with minimal supervision using schematics, manuals and drawings. Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical issues, and have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies. Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature to enable ordering of spares or replacements. Install equipment and conduct test runs. Develop and maintain store room spare parts inventory and establish withdraw, return and re-order procedures. General working knowledge of machine shop equipment. Be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks. Maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures. Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Assist with tooling setup and maintenance when needed. Responsible for additional specific duties related to each shift as assigned by Shift Team Leader. Other duties as necessary. Technical Competencies Administrative Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems. Communication/Teamwork Ability to communicate effectively and work closely and productively as part of a cross-functional team. Ability to create and/or exhibit an atmosphere of openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork. Ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed without loss of effectiveness and composure. Safety Demonstrates ability to understand and actively participate in all company safety programs, policies and procedures. Quality Ability to develop and maintain processes that are ISO compliant. Technical Knowledge Demonstrates an advanced comprehensive knowledge of the entire process from concept to commercialization. Operate Equipment Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as required. Demonstrates ability to utilize standard hand tools. Ability to operate basic machine shop equipment. Maintenance/Repair Demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and abilities. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment in manufacturing facilities. Demonstrates the ability to perform electrical troubleshooting, repair and equipment installation. Demonstrate the ability to use electrical meters to include multimeter and amp meter. Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Three to five years of experience in a related field and a mechanical pretest to employment. High school graduate required. Completion of a vocational or trade school curriculum from an authorized school with a concentration in electro-mechanical courses desired. Must be able to read and use precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings. Ada – Essential Functions Must be able to: Work 12 hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods. Climb. Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifts up to 75 lbs. All lifts over 75 lbs require 2-person lift or mechanical assistance. Possess an adequate ability to do problem solving and establish cause-and-effect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment.
