Job Summary
Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion, partnering with the GM to manage team members, and applying expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts. Responsibilities include sourcing parts from special order, FDO, second source, etc., directing drivers for timely and accurate delivery, and ensuring full‑time commitment.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain commercial customer relationships
Provide Gas2 selling experience for commercial customers
Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
Provide day‑to‑day supervisory support for team members
Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for team members
Dispatch drivers to meet delivery standards
Maintain commercial stocking programs
Build and maintain a network of second‑source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain core bank and commercial returns
Maintain commercial credit accounts
Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills
Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability across engine, suspension, brakes, electronic, exhaust, etc.
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); effective communication with customers, peers, and management
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; write simple correspondence
Understand and execute instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment
Use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure
Use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)
Strong organizational skills
Understand commercial profitability concepts, including knowledge of competition, market opportunities, and customer prioritization
Ability to work assorted days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Prior Experience
A minimum of 3 years of prior automotive parts experience preferred
Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfilling customer transactions
Formal or informal experience leading teams, including supervising daily tasks and achieving goals together
Education High school diploma or GED
Physical Demands Predominantly walking or standing; requires talking, hearing, hand use; reaching, climbing, balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs; close, distance, color, depth vision; adjust focus.
Work Environment Mostly indoor; occasional outdoor exposure to weather; exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, vibration; moderate noise level.
Compensation $19.95 USD per hour – $21.95 USD per hour
