Manufacturing Support Associate – 2nd Shift (Brooksville, FL)
Apply for the Manufacturing Support Associate position at Justrite Safety Group, located in Accuform NMC’s manufacturing facility in Brooksville, FL. This full‑time role is part of the 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:15 pm) and offers an hourly rate of $16.50 plus a $1.00 shift differential.
The role involves printing, cutting, laminating, finishing, and shipping tasks within a manufacturing value stream. You will set up and operate a variety of equipment, perform maintenance, and work with work orders to meet quality standards and production goals.
Responsibilities
Set up and print jobs on flatbed, hybrid, and roll printers.
Operate liquid lamination machines, roll‑to‑roll lamination equipment, and cutting machines to convert sheets into finished products such as signs, tags, labels, and banners.
Perform finishing operations, including operation of drill‑presses, lasers, round‑cornering machines, hole‑punch, press brakes, and other finishing equipment.
Execute startup, shutdown, cleaning, and daily maintenance on printing, cutting, lamination, and finishing equipment.
Prepare packages and pallets for shipment.
Use work orders to read and interpret item specifications, job priorities, and daily workload.
Maintain raw‑material inventory levels and a high level of quality and accuracy in all work processes.
Report machinery status and problems to a supervisor.
Remove waste at the end of each shift and keep the work area neat and clean.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives; apply Lean and 5S tools.
Train and become proficient in all value‑stream processes.
Cross‑train in other areas of production and shipping.
Work overtime occasionally; some overtime may be mandatory.
Assist in inventory/cycle counting.
Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for an 8‑hour shift.
Good hand‑eye coordination and strong visual acuity (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth).
Ability to perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, stooping, or crouching.
Effective communication skills.
Must wear safety glasses and other required PPE while in the plant.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
