Responsibilities
Monitor and inspect machine parts to ensure products meet customer and Company requirements.
Run Injection Molding or Lining machines.
Use product monitoring system and monitor quality of machine output.
Complete any assigned re-inspection work and grind non-conforming product at machine.
Keep accurate records/paperwork according to established recordkeeping procedures.
Perform quality inspection every two hours and record it in the Automated Data Collection System (Light-House).
Perform any other assigned duties and comply with safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and regulatory requirements. Report concerns and suggest areas for improvement.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Excellent attendance and ability to operate all production machines in the department.
Ability to monitor quality of machine output and good housekeeping skills.
Physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and routine lifting up to 35 pounds.
Visual acuity to distinguish color variation and detect defects; able to work in a production environment with alarms and sounds.
Ability to work overtime as needed and perform duties safely and effectively.
Salary
$18.20 - 20.42 per hour
