Maintenance Mechanic - 1st shift

Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Shift: 1st shift 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri Pay rate: $33-$35/hr. BOE Key Responsibilities
Perform daily equipment startups, setups, and tooling changes. Troubleshoot and repair mixers, conveyors, metal detectors, labelers, scales, and other process equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records. Inspect facility systems including refrigeration, utilities, and production areas. Respond to maintenance calls and support production teams as needed. Follow all safety, GMP, and compliance procedures. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components. Basic understanding of PLCs (troubleshooting only). Knowledge of plumbing, welding, HVAC, or ammonia refrigeration a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions. Certification or experience in waste water operations and ammonia refrigeration. Basic plumbing and welding knowledge. Experience with food manufacturing equipment and processes. Seniority level
