About the Role We are seeking a talented and innovative HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Amman, Jordan. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency while adhering to local building codes and regulations.

Develop comprehensive HVAC system designs for commercial and industrial buildings, taking into account Amman's climate conditions and energy efficiency requirements

Perform detailed calculations and analysis to determine heating and cooling loads, equipment sizing, and system specifications

Create technical drawings, specifications, and design documents using advanced HVAC design software

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers, to ensure integrated building systems

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints

Conduct site visits to assess existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and oversee installation and commissioning of new HVAC systems

Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, industry standards, and local building codes in Jordan

Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and address technical inquiries

Contribute to the development of energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions

Perform energy modeling and life-cycle cost analysis to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness

What do we need from you

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

0-2 years of experience in HVAC design engineering, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects

Proficiency in HVAC design software, including AutoCAD and Revit MEP

In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, energy efficiency principles, and sustainable design practices

Strong understanding of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and local regulations in Jordan

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail

Proven project management abilities, including the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Experience with energy modeling and life-cycle cost analysis

Familiarity with local climate conditions in Amman and their impact on HVAC design

Knowledge of HVAC systems suitable for Middle Eastern climate

Ability to adapt designs to meet local environmental and cultural requirements

LEED AP certification is a plus

Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
