Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder’s Transportation team is seeking an entry‑level
Highway Design Engineer
to work alongside our seasoned project managers and engineers to develop transportation projects. This is an
in‑office position
offered at our
Hunt Valley, MD
office.
Responsibilities
Perform engineering tasks in the transportation and highway engineering field through application of relevant design criteria, standards, and processes.
Work on multiple design projects and assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction cost estimates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
0‑3 years of design experience in the highway transportation field. Relevant internship experience or college coursework will be considered.
EIT certification is preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer is desired.
Experience with the project delivery of State Agency Transportation Departments.
