Job Title Certified HVAC Technician – ABM Industries

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and a valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants.

Pay $25.00 – $28.00 per hour. The specific offer will vary based on experience, skills, location, and market data.

Key Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation units.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs.

Conduct routine maintenance and tune‑ups to ensure system efficiency.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Respond to emergency service calls and resolve issues promptly.

Collaborate with other technicians and contractors as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

EPA Section 608 Certification required.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair.

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety protocols.

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
