Electronics Technician 3
to join our
Security and Electronic Systems (SES)
Business Unit. As part of
SES , you will be involved in designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets. Responsibilities
Execute various technical tasks within field operations, including on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Ensure the functionality and reliability of technologies through site surveys, hardware/software configuration, system testing, and technical support. Strong problem-solving, technical proficiency, and effective communication are essential. Utilize and understand project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW), enforcing company policies. Review and analyze design documentation for constructability. Track project metrics and participate in resource planning meetings. Verify charges in timesheets. Perform installation and maintenance activities, ensuring detailed documentation. Manage tools, conduct inspections, and organize materials. Conduct safety meetings, ensure safety compliance, and report incidents. Participate in PITCO planning and execution for testing and installation quality. Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels following standards. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices and network equipment. Manage switch configurations, server and workstation setup, and troubleshoot components. Ensure quality control and conduct inspections. Install and maintain field devices, troubleshoot cabling issues, and lead commissioning activities. Communicate effectively with project teams, trades, and clients. Lead by example, mentor team members, and foster innovation. Display strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Provide resource planning and adapt to changing duties as needed. Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type:
Must be eligible for a government security clearance, including ACTIVE TOP SECRET with TS/SCI w/ Polygraph. Education: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training, or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program. Additional 3 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience. Experience: 6+ years in electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs. Strong communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams. Proficient in MS Office; valid driver’s license required. Preferred Qualifications: Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and experience with specific systems like CCURE, Lenel, Bosch, etc. 3 years in electronic security systems.
