Overview
Airfield Engineering Associate to join the aviation team in Mobile, AL. You’ll work with your team to create civil projects for airports throughout the U.S. You will use AutoCAD daily to create plans, including geometric design. Projects include runways, taxiways, and aprons; bituminous and concrete pavement design; and stormwater and utility infrastructure design. Occasional travel ( Responsibilities

Contribute to the design of runways, taxiways, and aprons; pavement design (bituminous and concrete); and stormwater and utility infrastructure. Collaborate with more senior engineers and cross-functional teams to advance projects. Coordinate with airports, airlines, FAA, and construction management as needed for project understanding. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Willingness to learn different software platforms such as AutoCAD. Critical thinking skills; able to ask questions when something is not understood. Team-oriented with collaborative work style; comfortable sharing responsibility across the project team. Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to triple-check drawings before submission. Strongly prefer completion of Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineering Internship (EI) exam or intent to complete within six months of hire. Benefits
