As a Composite Technician you will be hands-on involved in composite projects working within a team-oriented environment. The Composite Technician will be consistently using new and existing processes and materials to serve our customers in aerospace, defense, and other industries. You will be expected to learn an array of manufacturing processes to fabricate complex carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other composite parts and components. These duties will require flexibility dependent upon demand and may be carried out in any of our production departments. What you will get to do
Fabricate complex carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other composite parts and components. Operate machines in accordance with internal process and any other required paperwork (i.e., drawings, specifications, etc.) Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc.) to manufacture products that meet quality requirements Inspect and verify work to ensure it meets specification requirements What you bring to the team
High school diploma or GED equivalent One year to three years of manufacturing experience (preferred) Enthusiasm and positive attitude Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal Exceptional organizational skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to demonstrate attention to details Team player who can effectively interact with co-workers, management and collaborate with other departments in the organization The BIG payoff
