Electronics Installation Technician- ACTIVE TS/SCI REQUIRED- Chantilly, VA
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an
Electronics Install Technicians (Level 3 or 4)
to join a Government Consulting company located in
Chantilly, VA
or Ft. Belvoir, VA or Sacramento, CA or Aurora, CO through 100% onsite work. The Electronics Install Technicians will support the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced electronic security systems across federal and military facilities.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, CCTV, and command & control systems
Conduct site surveys, perform cable terminations, mount equipment, and ensure system grounding per NEC standards
Execute system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness
Maintain documentation, track project metrics, and participate in safety and quality control meetings
Lead or support PITCO testing, tool inventory, and material staging
Collaborate with design teams and other trades to ensure constructability and compliance
Mentor junior technicians and promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs
Strong knowledge of IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch BVMS, AIphone, DIVAR)
Familiarity with network and IT equipment, switch/server configuration, and fiber/copper troubleshooting
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
High school diploma or GED required; military electronics training (minimum 720 classroom hours), electronics technician program, or electrical apprenticeship preferred
Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
U.S. Citizenship and Active TS/SCI Clearance required
Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000/year depending on experience (flexibility up to $130K for highly qualified candidates)

Clearance Level: Must be eligible to work in the United States and maintain an Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance
