This position is responsible to provide quality and efficient service on company manufactured equipment as well as non-company equipment in various locations under general instructions. Scope and Responsibilities

Install, demonstrate, qualify, repair, or alter independently machines (mechanically, electrically, and CNC) or associated equipment in customer's facilities following verbal or written instructions given by Tech Support, Service Coordinator or Service Manager, or using information contained in drawings, service documentation, or other user documentation. Effectively demonstrate critical thinking and methodical troubleshooting skills to identify and repair root cause of reported issues. Understand operation of machines and associated equipment in customer's facilities to demonstrate or qualify equipment, or observe qualification runs conducted by customer personnel. Ensure that the machine accuracy and quality are in accordance with specifications. Notify Service Coordinator &/or Technical Support when deviations from specifications occur, or when problems are encountered. Write complete service reports in accordance with procedures. Instruct customer's personnel to maintain and/or repair machines and equipment, emphasizing necessary safety precautions. Notify customer of any unsafe operating practices observed and document in detail on service report. Provide input for the improvement and development of company products. Maintain regular, responsible and predictable attendance. Has the ability to work overtime and/or work on "off-shifts" as required by business needs. Has the ability to work with and interact with other people on a routine basis. "On the road" a majority of time visiting customers and/or vendors, both nationally and internationally. Skills

Ability to read, analyze and understand technical documentation such as manuals, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic schematics, assembly layout and detail drawings, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write detailed reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Good working knowledge of MS Office 365 programs such as word processing and spreadsheet generation software, and the general use of internal service system and communication systems. A professional, positive and considerate attitude possessing the ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers, presenting a clean and neat appearance, commitment to the highest quality of work, serving customers effectively and efficiently, using these qualities as a tool for promoting Company image of a quality supplier.
