We are seeking an experienced field service technician to install new equipment and provide routine maintenance and service. The ideal candidate has strong electro-mechanical skills, a customer service-oriented personality, is energetic, hard-working, and enjoys a fun work environment. Job Type Full-time Candidate may reside within a few hours of Providence, RI or Southern MA, preferably in Central/Western Massachusetts, within reasonable proximity to a major airport. Essential Functions As a customer-focused technical expert, you will troubleshoot, install, and maintain packaging machinery, applying mechanical and electrical skills, and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems. Tasks include preventive maintenance and on-site repairs. Job Duties Travel approximately 80% (Mon-Fri) visiting food plants primarily in the Central USA, with potential travel beyond. After training, travel reduces to 60-70%. Read diagrams, schematics, and manuals to determine work procedures. Engage with customers, analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and restore systems. Communicate with team members and customers regarding work progress and preventive maintenance. Participate in new projects to install or improve equipment safety and performance. Requirements At least 4 years of maintenance experience with electro-mechanical machinery. Experience with food processing and packaging machinery is preferred. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems. Strong problem-solving, initiative, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel 60-80% during training and after. Food industry experience is a plus; bilingual English-Spanish is a bonus.
