The Spartanburg II operation is a state‑of‑the‑art coffee grinding and packaging facility. All associates are accountable to a functional business unit and the full site operation. The site runs on state‑of‑the‑art enterprise and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing.
Job Overview
Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Available
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Shift: 1st shift initially, moving to a 12‑hour shift (2/2/3 day) in future.
Position: Maintenance Supervisor – responsible for overall equipment performance.
Responsibilities
Deliver best‑in‑class performance across the balanced scorecard.
Lead the site safety goal of zero injuries by promoting safety culture through behavioral observations, safety meetings, audits, lock‑out/tag‑out, and 100% safety training.
Achieve zero‑defect performance and improve customer experience by leading right‑first‑time approaches, quality audits, and root‑cause corrective actions.
Collaborate with operations, quality, material handling and distribution to reduce unplanned downtime and increase machine availability through preventive/predictive SOPs.
Lead full employee lifecycle: interview, hire, train, coach, develop and reward Maintenance Technicians.
Motivate, coach and develop a high‑performing team to meet goals and build organizational capability.
Provide leadership and support to Maintenance teams for site operational meetings and employee engagement.
Build constructive relationships with diplomacy, treating direct reports equitably.
Execute leadership responsibilities in line with TPM and High‑Performing Team Principles, policies and applicable laws.
Optimize and develop spare parts management program for new equipment.
Total Rewards
Salary range: $76,400 – $120,000

Requirements
5 years of experience applying hands‑on maintenance knowledge.
Minimum 4 years in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in food/beverage, leading 10+ employees.
Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
Experience working with vendors and consultants to analyze manufacturing performance and develop strategies.
Experience with material batching and CIP/COP preferred.
Communication
Comfortable developing and conducting group presentations.
Provides clear, actionable feedback.
Agile and able to work independently and teams.
Prioritizes tasks in fast‑paced environments.
Manages and leads change and continuous improvement.
Occasional travel and flexible schedule for staff meetings outside routine shift hours.
Performs other duties as requested by management.
Systems Knowledge
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word and Statistical Analysis Software.
Experience with SAP, MES, Infinity QS and similar manufacturing data systems.
Compliance
Follows all regulatory, company and departmental policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr. Pepper.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Majority of time on the manufacturing floor with some keyboarding/computer work.
Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently with mechanical assistance; 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
Continuous lifting, bending, stretching, standing and walking throughout shift.
Frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching overhead with repetitive motions.
Occasional domestic and international travel.
Other Necessary Functions
Follows all policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by KDP and the site.
Performs other duties as requested by leadership.
