Essential Duties and Accountabilities Operate and maintain equipment within the production facility, including compressors, pumps, filling stations, and forklifts, to ensure a steady supply of industrial gases.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition and address issues promptly.

Safely handle and transport cylinders, including filling and quality checks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility safely.

Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities.

Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.

Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Additional Responsibilities

May conduct safety checks per procedure, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves, and accurately labeling cylinders.

May operate forklift and other equipment as required.

Assist with inventory, housekeeping, as required.

May assist with filling cylinders in other areas of the facility.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.

Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
