The Maintenance Supervisor performs repairs and routine preventative maintenance to mechanical equipment, utility systems, structures, and grounds, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs. This qualified, HVAC-EPA (Type II) certified individual supervises the maintenance team and applicable vendors related to maintenance, capital improvements, and the curb appeal of the physical property. The Maintenance Supervisor is an integral part of the team. This key player will work with fellow team members to perform various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community, as well as ensure that daily maintenance tasks meet the quality maintenance standards set by the management company. Additionally, the Maintenance Supervisor maintains a positive outlook and interacts with residents and staff in a professional, courteous manner.

*After 90 days of successful employment. Responsibilities:

Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure resident satisfaction Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks Oversee and maintain a preventive maintenance program Schedule make-ready turns for vacant apartments Qualifications:

Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED Compensation:

$30.00 - $33.00 per year • Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure resident satisfaction • Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours when on-call • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • Oversee and maintain a preventive maintenance program • Schedule make-ready turns for vacant apartments
