Overview Lee Industrial Contracting is seeking an Electrical Foreman – Commercial & Industrial to lead electrical projects and teams in an industrial setting. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC guidelines.

Work with minimal supervision while providing guidance to Apprentices; cut, bend, and install conduit.

Utilize standard electrical testing equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical issues.

Collaborate with and assist other trades departments as needed.

Communicate project status through use of phone and email.

Confidently operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.

Apply knowledge of policies and procedures followed within the Electrical Division and company.

Run projects from start to finish and train apprentices and journeyman electricians.

Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and ensure compliant wiring with specifications and local electrical codes.

Adhere to company safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required.

Schooling completed at an accredited electrical trade school.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an industrial electrical role.

Able to read blueprints and schematics proficiently to determine scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.

Understanding of various aspects of an industrial facility including structural, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical code and ability to apply it daily on the job.

Professional communication with customers, project managers, and estimators.

Strong understanding of turnkey industrial processes.

Ability to lead multiple crews on larger projects.

Valid Driver’s License.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.

Work in permit and non-permit required confined spaces and near loud equipment.

Must be able to lift and carry or move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally.

Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other means to communicate hazards.

Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.

Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
