Job Overview
Production Planner – Leeds, AL at Hubbell Gas Utility Solutions (HGUS). Drive production excellence by coordinating manufacturing schedules, collaborating across departments, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders. Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure materials and resources are available. Analyze and adjust production schedules as needed to respond to changes in raw material and equipment. Work with purchasing to expedite materials as needed. Prioritize shop floor dispatches/work centers to meet manufacturing dates. Communicate delays that may affect production to shop floor supervision. Manage parts orders for product lines to ensure on‑time shipments. Interact with customer service for the product line. Provide production updates to Lead Master Scheduler. Collaborate in a team setting and provide input and feedback. Perform any other duties assigned. Qualifications
3+ years of production planning experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills and data‑driven decision making. Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. 3+ years of SAP experience in manufacturing planning and scheduling. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and productivity tools. Ability to collaborate across a cross‑functional team. EEO Statement
