Physical Therapist II – MUSC Health

Job Description Summary Evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments. Establishes treatment plans and uses exercises, stretching, hands‑on therapy, and equipment to ease pain and accelerate recovery.

Additional Requirements

Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Experience: At least one year as a Physical Therapy Assistant with independent management of a full caseload.

Licensure: Physical Therapy Assistant licensure from the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.

Certification: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers.
