Interventional Radiology Tech – CommonSpirit Health
Join the CommonSpirit Health team in Lakewood, Colorado. The Interventional Radiology Tech provides quality patient care within our medical imaging department, performing high‑quality images and exams while maintaining safety and sensitivity to patient needs.
Responsibilities include following safe radiation practices, acting as a clinical resource to unit personnel, demonstrating leadership, and ensuring current standards of practice for the unit. You will also provide patient education and support during radiologic procedures.
Physical requirements: Medium work – exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
Salary: $34.40–$52.06 per hour.
Qualifications:
One year of imaging experience strongly preferred.
HS/GED required.
Associates degree strongly preferred.
Registered Technologist in Radiology, Vascular‑Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular‑Interventional Radiology – R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) required.
Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire (for Colorado staff or within scope of another license). (Required for Colorado staff only)
Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required.
ACLS through American Heart Association preferred.
