in Bridgeton, Missouri. Immediate hiring for a permanent full-time Master Level Diesel Technician to support our truck fleet. Responsibilities

SBTIII trained within 180 days (SBT220) Complete all OEM on-line diagnostic scan tool software courses as required by location fleet mix (completed within 365 days) Complete Instructor-led OEM courses as required to support location fleet mix Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including: standard vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs with minimal support Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers/software when applicable Remotely triage with RCRC and customers to determine best solution for roadside breakdowns Performs facility maintenance duties Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints; instructs and advises other technicians Coaches/mentors other level technicians; informs shop management and other technicians on repairs Utilizes Shop Management System and electronic documentation Works in accordance with safety, DOT, MOT and corporate compliance guidelines Other support duties as required to support operations Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Vocational or Technical Certification; post-secondary degree or technical certifications preferred Basic tools, required Experience with mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work) Diagnostics and repairs including AC, electrical systems Advanced skilled repairs including major engine repairs, diesel after-treatment or automotive fuel injection repairs Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred All other certifications as required by location Ability to perform all T3 tasks Demonstrated advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance Effective interpersonal communication skills Basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Shift work/weekends and on-call duty as required ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, electronics or ASE Master Mechanic preferred Operate shop computers and diagnostic test equipment proficiently Minimum tool requirement Road test vehicles as necessary Ability to coach/mentor others Ability to drive Ryder vehicles; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, and background checks Benefits
