Prepare and submit air reports, permit applications, renewals, and modifications. Conduct air quality assessments and ensure compliance with applicable federal, NJ, and local regulations. Liaise with regulatory agencies and represent the company during inspections and audits. Monitor changes in air quality regulations and update company policies accordingly. Provide training and guidance to staff on air quality compliance and best practices. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to air permitting and compliance activities. Perform monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting requirements to maintain compliance with the facility’s Title V air permit, including: Monthly and annual emission calculations. Annual Compliance Stack Testing. Monthly and annual metrics tracking. Records collection and management for control devices. Compilation and preparation of reports (annual emission inventory statements, monitoring and deviation reports, annual compliance certifications, Greenhouse Gas, etc.). Collect samples and send them to the laboratory for analysis. Disseminate laboratory analytical results. Perform facility inspections and audits as required for regulatory compliance or per company policy. Ensure that all environmental records and reports required for regulatory compliance or per company policy are maintained and completed on a timely basis and safeguarded. Train plant personnel in proper work site environmental practices. Review and update environmental work instructions. Assist the facility and other environmental staff in upholding compliance with remediation, stormwater, groundwater, process water, and waste management. Perform any additional environmental duties as needed, as directed by the supervisor. Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree in a related science field; 3 years of experience preferred. Familiarity with Title V reports and submissions (Required). Ability to solve complex problems, manage changes, strong leadership skills, and be a team player. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database usage. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Preferred
Experience with regulatory requirements regarding waste management or air emissions. Work Environment
Heavy industrial setting; may involve working around molten metal. Physical Demands
Standing and walking for long periods; lifting up to 25 lbs. Travel
Minimal, up to 1–2 work weeks per year. Compensation
