Full Time, 72 Hours Per Pay Period, Night Shift Morristown-Hamblen Overview Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System has 167 licensed beds and 23 emergency suites. The hospital offers outstanding ancillary services including Laboratory, Radiology, and Therapy services. The Women’s Center offers six newly remodeled labor and delivery suites and a secure nursery for newborns. Responsibilities include: Completes nursing history and initiates patient education. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members. Implements care plans appropriate to diagnosis and evaluates outcomes. Coordinates unit/patient care assignments, problem-solves, and supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters. Introduces new employees/students to unit routines. Demonstrates competence in critical skills, ensuring age-specific care. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards; participates in quality improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education None specified; must meet standards for license and certification as required. Minimum Experience New graduate, within first year of orientation (move to level II after one year). Licensure Requirement Must have and maintain Tennessee RN license and CPR certification.
