Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Base pay range: $22.00/hr – $25.00/hr (pay determined by experience and skills; discuss with recruiter)
Client: Major Consumer Products Client
Location: Belvidere, NJ 07823
Duration: 12+ months on W2 (only)
Description Entry level Chemistry Specialist graduates sought. Working schedule 8 AM – 4:30 PM, Tues – Sat. Overtime may be required; shifts include weekends, overtime, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Perform laboratory analyses with minimal supervision.
Prepare standards, mobile phases, and reagents.
Calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment (HPLC, GC, ICP, etc.).
Analyze raw materials, intermediates, stability samples, and finished products using validated or compendia methods.
Perform calculations and prepare data for evaluation.
Communicate work status to supervisor.
Investigate out‑of‑spec (OOS) results under senior staff guidance.
Qualifications
0+ years of lab experience.
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred in relevant scientific discipline.
Broad knowledge of QC techniques, methods, safety, laboratory hygiene, and GMP rules.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to work shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
Strong analytical skills, communication, teamwork, attention to detail.
Other
Overtime eligible; schedule may be structured with required overtime component.
Position requires conforming to cGMP guidelines, SOPs, and specifications.
