We operate a 24/7 in‑house call‑center and provide scheduled and unscheduled services to fleets anywhere, anytime.

Duties

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow‑up repairs on light, medium, and heavy‑duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.

Perform minor adjustments and repairs on various truck equipment including electrical, brake, cooling, starters/alternators, fan clutches, engine electronics, diesel steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, and differentials.

Diagnose, adjust, and repair various truck equipment such as electrical, brake, cooling, AC, fan clutches, engine electronics, diesel steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, and differentials.

Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers and pressure gauges.

Road‑test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.

Identify problems, determine accuracy and relevance of information, and use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives.

Independently manage parts inventory and equipment provided on the company‑issued service truck, performing periodic reconciliation.

Maintain and operate the company‑issued service vehicle, conducting safety checks and pre‑/post‑trip inspections.

Work with and listen effectively to clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations.

Manage concurrent assigned tasks, prioritizing work activities and time allocations effectively.

Use hand tools, precision instruments, diesel tools, welding equipment, lift, and jacks.

Document work according to company standards, uploading pictures of work performed, parts used, and all findings on Repair Orders (RO) with the company‑issued iOS device and TRAIT application.

Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.

Work with a high degree of independence and manage own daily schedule.

Maintain a high level of productivity and work within or close to most standard repair times.

Obtain parts from approved local and national vendors as necessary for repairs.

Communicate with management and support team via email or phone to obtain approvals on repair estimates, retrieve purchase order numbers, and discuss RO findings.

Perform all work in compliance with safety, health, environmental policies and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT.

Maintain the company‑issued service truck, conducting safety checks and daily pre/post‑trip inspections.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Possess and maintain a set of hand tools necessary for tasks.

Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.

Pass DOT‑regulated pre‑employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment.

Have a current valid DOT medical card with more than 4 months remaining (or complete a DOT physical if less than 4 months).

Be at least 21 years old.

Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and maintain a Driver Qualification File.

Compensation Hourly base pay: $26.06 – $39.13 per hour, adjusted by location and candidate experience.

Position may be eligible for commission and incentive programs.

Employees receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off each month and seven paid holidays per calendar year, with additional leave for bereavement, jury duty, military, and parental leave.
