During the Fall term, you will be placed as a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant for approximately 16 weeks. You will be mentored by seasoned technical specialists and provided value-added projects throughout this period. Projects will give you hands-on experience with the technical issues that you\'ll face in the production environment, covering the following topics: Safety leadership Process and product improvement Productivity increases Waste elimination Total Productive Maintenance Co-op Benefits
Industry work experience with challenging and meaningful assignments Networking opportunities and exposure to senior leadership Formal and informal personal and professional development activities Project-specific training Housing stipend and relocation assistance provided Opportunities to give back to the community What We’re Looking For
Seeking an enthusiastic candidate who demonstrates the ability to take initiative to drive results, execute goals, and creatively navigate through tasks in a team environment. This includes developing both technical and leadership capabilities in a manufacturing environment to support a long-term impact at Owens Corning. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant STEM major and/or field Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations Willingness and flexibility to relocate Location of Assignment
