Overview
Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is seeking an Assembly Technician- Overhaul & Repair 1st Shift. This role is in the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) group and is based in Euclid, OH. The Euclid facility specializes in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace fuel pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets. What You’ll Do
Disassemble, inspect, disposition and reassemble customer field returns of high-volume units in accordance with component overhaul manuals and/or other approved technical documents. Perform all tasks to FAA, EASA and CAAC approved procedures. Prepare a concise and accurate documentation package for every repaired or overhauled unit. Develop a clear understanding of all FAA, EASA, and CAAC approved procedures. Maintain a current knowledge of all requirements. Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient processing of repairs through the MRO facility and with internal departments (quality, customer service, stock room) and external customers and auditors as required. Ensure required training/re-training is completed and properly documented for FAA record keeping. Participate in departmental continuous improvement projects. Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor, which could include receiving/shipping, final test, pump testing and non-destructive testing. Qualifications
Basic (Required) Qualifications
Minimum High School diploma/GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical assembly AND/OR experience in maintenance of mechanical devices such as pumps, motors, etc. Access to export-controlled information; eligible to work in the U.S. as defined by U.S. export regulations. Unable to sponsor immigration for this position. No CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap, O-1, E-3, TN, I-485 job portability, etc. No relocation offered; candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Euclid, OH facility. Active duty military candidates are exempt from this geographic requirement. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an Aerospace environment. Associates degree. Understanding of CMMs, SBs, engineering drawings and repair sketches. 3 years’ experience in aircraft/engine accessory maintenance. MFG-Pro or other ERP experience. Experience with multiple pump models and strong performance against applicable metrics. Knowledge of administrative tasks such as contract review, RTS, etc. Customer service/UI experience. Skills
Participate in continuous improvement (CI) events and problem-solving. Effective trainer with ability to cross-train administrative and repair/overhaul tasks. Strong problem-solving and dispositioning skills for hardware. Proficient in data entry within MRP systems (MFG-Pro) and Microsoft Office. Good communication and organizational skills. Salary: The expected annual salary range is $45,749.97 to $67,099.96, with potential overtime and a variable incentive program.
