We are seeking a skilled
Corporate Injection Process Engineer; Cups, Containers & Industrial
to join our team at Berry Global, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing injection molding processes, supporting manufacturing operations, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
Work with technical teams to introduce new mold designs, tooling, and processes that meet or exceed customer expectations. Develop scientifically based processes and generate documentation to ensure run consistency of quality and efficiency via established process specifications. Provide engineering feedback on new designs to ensure process capability and participate in mold design reviews prior to mold build. Support manufacturing with capability issues, technical improvements, and daily processing activities. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals. Train and supervise molding technicians and production mechanics as needed. Support process control and capability using scientific molding principles and implement MAP molding processes. Drive process improvements to optimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and establish optimal processing parameters. Support tooling qualifications, process capability studies, and troubleshooting of injection molding equipment. Contribute to safety, quality, and productivity objectives. Travel up to 65% as required by business needs. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment. Experience managing daily plant operations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Experience with change management and continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to analyze data and perform under pressure.
