Fire Alarm & Life Safety (LSS) Construction Manager

Position Overview This role manages all aspects of fire alarm and life safety construction activities—from preconstruction estimating and scheduling through completion and closeout. You’ll lead coordination with architects, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance on every job.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare estimates, manage budgets, and monitor project progress.
Schedule, direct, and support construction crews and subcontractors.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients throughout project phases.
Oversee vendor negotiations, change orders, and project documentation.
Ensure adherence to building codes, permits, and quality standards.
Drive project completion on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing construction teams or general contractors.
Strong understanding of construction permits, codes, and life safety systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction scheduling tools.
Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Flexible to work extended hours or on-call as project demands.
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
This position is Salary Non-Exempt and is DOE- paid like
hourly , and you will receive
overtime pay (1.5× their hourly rate)
for all hours worked
over 40 in a workweek .
