We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious

Renewable Energy Technician (Wind/Solar)

to join our fast-growing team in Tucson, AZ. This role is vital to the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines and solar panel systems across utility, commercial, and residential projects. As part of a mission-driven company committed to sustainable energy solutions, you will be on the front lines of the clean energy movementsupporting Arizonas transition to a more sustainable future. Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot wind turbine systems and photovoltaic (PV) solar systems

Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics to ensure optimal performance

Use test instruments and monitoring equipment to evaluate energy production

Replace worn or defective components such as inverters, wiring, fuses, and motors

Maintain service records, inspections logs, and safety checklists

Collaborate with engineering and project management teams for project execution

Follow OSHA and company safety protocols rigorously

Respond to service calls and conduct on-site repairs when necessary

Travel to various sites within southern Arizona as needed

Qualifications:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of experience working with solar PV systems and/or wind turbines

Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills

Ability to climb towers (for wind) up to 300 feet and work in various outdoor conditions

Familiarity with NEC, OSHA, and NFPA 70E codes

Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Preferred: Associate degree or technical certification in Renewable Energy, Electrical Technology, or related field

NABCEP Certification (for solar technicians)

CPR and First Aid Certification

Experience with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools
