Snapshot of Your Day You can expect working with teammates, in a safe, comfortable, climate-controlled environment, to manufacture parts for large generators. The primary purpose of this position is to build or make parts by creating, forming, building various materials according to blueprints and instructions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Operate machines including setup, adjustments, and monitoring for quality output.
Inspect parts and components using testing, electrical, and measurement equipment.
Use hand tools and equipment for building, forming, bending, punching, grinding, cutting, brazing, buffing, and welding.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, and work instructions to determine required operations.
Assemble and install parts according to instructions, including lifting and transporting components between workstations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by participating in daily area cleaning and following all Siemens Energy policies and procedures.
What You Bring
Early professional experience; manufacturing background is a plus but not required.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for safety, quality, and operational communication.
Strong hand dexterity and attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in part handling and assembly.
Moderate computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Willingness to complete employment requirements such as drug screening, background checks, and Work Keys assessments (if applicable).
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
