The primary responsibility is troubleshooting and repairing machines across the plant and assisting in all functions of the tool room. Responsible for quality workmanship and task completion. Capable of troubleshooting and repairing progressive and secondary stamping dies. Compensation is $33.30/hour plus shift premium and overtime over 40 hours. Responsibilities
Advanced understanding of MIG/TIG welding of tool steels (A-2, D-2, S-7, 4140, O-1). Operate equipment such as mills, lathes, saws, grinders, and drills. Read blueprints and die/tooling details; measure with calipers, micrometers, and liner calipers. Troubleshoot dies and repair machinery and fixtures. Maintain 5-S standards in the tool room. Ensure safety standards and work rules are followed; report safety issues immediately. Follow Lockout/Tag-Out procedures and recommend shutdowns if unsafe. Comply with ISO 14001 and TS16949 standards. Collaborate with team members and management to meet company goals. Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications
