About This Role
As a Lead HVAC Installer you are the leader of your install team. After instruction from the Installation Manager, you are responsible for guiding your team and executing professional installations. You will work hands-on with your crew while installing a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ensuring the installation is performed properly, safely, and to high standards, while providing excellent customer service.

You are a strong communicator and can explain basic maintenance suggestions to customers.
You enjoy training and mentoring apprentices.
What You’ll Do Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers.
Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC and ventilation units.
Maintain proper inventory, parts, tools, and use safety equipment in the vehicle.
Mentor and train apprentices on the job and provide learning opportunities.
Diagnose service issues, obtain replacement parts, and calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve technical, logistical, and scheduling issues.
Perform quality work with honesty and diligence and follow company procedures and values.
Must Haves 5+ years of field experience.
Active Driver’s License.
Tech savvy – ability to use tablets and learn related software.
Experience developing quotations for repairs and installations of replacement equipment.
Analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to read blueprints, plans, and manuals.
Proven ability in installing, replacing, and servicing HVAC systems in new residential and commercial properties.
Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays) or on-call shifts when needed.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands Safety is a primary responsibility; knowledge of safe working practices and OSHA requirements.
Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, use hands to manipulate controls, hear, and talk.
Must be able to climb ladders, work in hot/cold environments, and in small crawl spaces.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move 50+ lbs.
Work environment can vary by season and scope; outdoor work may be required.
