CT Technologist – Main CT Scanning – Full Time – Rotating
Work Hours
Full‑time position: 72 hours bi‑weekly
Evening Shift
Job Overview Under the direction of the radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, the CT technologist performs procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Technologists are responsible for the performance of high‑quality diagnostic images utilizing proper techniques with established protocols. This position utilizes independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for accurate diagnosis, and includes identification of pathology, interventional biopsies, 3‑D reconstruction, patient positioning, contrast injections, IV access, new protocols, teaching, equipment troubleshooting, infection control, and other duties as required.
Job Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Allied Health
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) ARRT or NMTCB(CT)
Registry in CT required within 2 years of employment, and BLS/CPR
State license
Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy
Venipuncture, radiation safety procedures
Experience in a related field
Job Responsibilities
Provides patient, family, and staff comfort and care before, during, and after procedures.
Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergent situations.
Maintains accurate records through completion of all paperwork.
Produces and evaluates CT studies for diagnostic interpretation.
Demonstrates competency through ongoing CBE’s.
Shows knowledge of equipment and operating procedures through CBE’s.
Selects proper imaging protocols and parameters based on clinical history and departmental procedures.
Communicates and collaborates with interdepartmental team members.
