Job Summary:

To repair, maintain, overhaul and troubleshoot airframes, engine systems, parts and components. Performs 100‑hour and progressive inspections as well as modification work on customer aircraft. May be required to assist higher and lower grade mechanics.

Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose malfunctions and disassemble, rework, repair, replace, reassemble or adjust aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.

Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair and engine run‑ups.

Conduct airframe system, component changes and systems checkout.

Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.

Use equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights and hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.

Perform 100‑hour, annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in FAR 43.

Responsible only for own work and perform other related duties as required.

Education:

High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification plus A&P license.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance experience including diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, 100‑hour and annual service experience.

Preferred experience in a customer service facility performing inspections and repair of aircraft.

Working Conditions:

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to exposure to noise and weather elements.
