We need an Electro-Mechanic who is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to achieve our sites’ business goals, specializing in electromechanical systems like automated and computer-controlled manufacturing machinery. What You Will Do
Along with a team of other Technicians, be responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely. Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues in equipment Utilize various mechanical test equipment (e.g. calipers, ultrasound, etc.) Assemble components and install electrical parts using hand tools and soldering equipment Test and calibrate production machinery Keep detailed records of work orders Perform equipment repairs, equipment rebuilds, and equipment installation Conduct root cause analyses to eliminate sources of failure in equipment Establish and maintain equipment at basic conditions through the application of CI processes and tools Work and communicate with others to ensure efficient and effective operations What You Need
Basic electrical and variable frequency drive knowledge High School Education or GED Industrial Technical courses in Industrial Technology preferred Previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, minimum 1 year 3+ years’ work experience in the food manufacturing industry, industrial electrical and mechanical repairs and technical support for industrial equipment and ancillary equipment Strong team player - good communication (written and verbal), with the ability to train others Seniority level
