We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Construction Equipment Mechanic
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least
5 years of hands‑on experience
working with diesel engines, heavy‑duty machinery, and construction trucks. This role is critical to keeping our equipment running efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy construction equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on a wide range of machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and make necessary repairs
Maintain accurate service records and work orders
Adhere to company and OSHA safety protocols
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure minimal equipment downtime
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment or diesel mechanic roles
Strong knowledge of construction equipment, diesel systems, and hydraulics
Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostics
Ability to read schematics and repair manuals
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Valid driver's license; CDL a plus
