Etch Equipment Technician - Days at Samsung Semiconductor (Samsung Austin Semiconductor). As a Samsung Austin Semiconductor Etch Equipment Technician, you\'ll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations. This includes working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. You may use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. You may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines. Preventative Maintenance (PM) / Change Point Management (CPM) / System Maintenance: Follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment, processes, and systems are running effectively. Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures. Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and processes and proactively looks for ways to improve them. Teamwork and Communication: Able to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout the organization. Skills And Qualifications
Any 2-year technical certification (TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC, etc); 3+ ASE certs or 4 years Semiconductor Technician experience (no cert, passes test) or 4 years equivalent technical Military service Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment Familiar with TPM concepts High attention to detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility Ability to meet due dates for action items Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs Ability to work off-hours if necessary Electro-mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity Onsite and Compliance

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation may include a competitive benefits package and participation in company incentive compensation programs based on organizational and individual performance. Shift Information
Day Shifts Include: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays C Shift – Thursday through Saturday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays Benefits and Total Rewards
